Chapter Leadership Position Descriptions

Position Title: Webmaster Chair

Responsible to: Chapter President

Position Summary:
The Webmaster is an elected and voting member of the Board and is responsible for keeping the website updated and for recommending and implementing upgrades.

Position Responsibilities:

Attends Chapter Board meetings
Manages the Chapter’s web site development and maintenance
Ensures that email communications are sent in a timely manner through the COMM LINK and possibly other electronic means
Seeks approvals from the President or President-elect before making changes to the website
Establishes a schedule for release of information and materials
Provides budget and estimate information regarding any web cost expenses
Makes decisions on members’ special requests for Comm-Link usage.

Position Qualification:

Technical knowledge of website management
Willing to locate to use or to load website development tool onto working computer
Strong computer skills
Excellent written communication skills
Good organizational skills

Time Required:

Approximately 4-5 hours per month including Board meetings
